Asiana Magazine Fashion Show & Bridal Exhibition

07/02/2011

After a hectic Saturday night celebrating friends' birthdays and only getting to bed at 6 a.m I actually made it in time for the Asiana Magazine Fashion Show and Bridal Exhibition held at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel on Sunday 30 January '11.

At the hotel I linked up with my good friends who are due to get married later this year, the engaged couple had been around viewing exhibitor stands on different floors.  Queues for the fashion show had already begun to form almost an hour before the show was scheduled to start so we quickly took our places near the entrance.  The Asiana Bridal show is held only for one day in London and attracts huge numbers of visitors from all over UK, the event is supported by Madhu's and Sunrise Radio.  During the event four fashion shows take place and we attended the penultimate fashion show featuring impressive dance routines with dramatic and entertaining presentations of glamorous bridal wear and evening wear.

The exquisitely embroidered rich and colourful wedding couture included Lenghas, Sarees, gowns, jewellery for ladies and stylish Sherwani suits for men.  Captivating themes including Fairytale Romance, Arabian Nights and Ballet were incorporated in the show for the audience to enjoy.

Despite having an action packed weekend it was well worth venturing out to see and cover the Asiana Fashion Show for the second year running.  The Asiana Magazine team produce first class fashion shows and here below you can browse through the collection of my photos taken at the event with the full collection in the Gallery.
